Rag Joint Flex Steering Coupler - Scout II

Price
$49
Input Shaft Size:13/16" x 36, ('71-'77)

Tired of driving a sloppy joe around town?  There are a couple areas of play in the scout steering system but this is the easiest and cheapest to address. If you really want positive road feel we recommend replacing the rag joint with a Borgeson joint.

Please measure before ordering.

Measuring process;

  • If an 11/16" 12 point box end wrench fits snug on the splines of the steering box input shaft then you have a '78-'80 Scout II box and need a 3/4"x30 steering joint.
  • If an 11/16" 12 point box end wrench does not fit over the splines of the steering box input shaft then you have a '71-'77 Scout II box and need a 13/16" x 36 steering joint. Or if you have calipers, the measurement on the input splines of the steering box should be 0.80 inches in diameter.

Includes: 1x rag joint and hardware
