These specs were taken from International Harvester's Service Manual for a late model Scout II. This is meant to be a general guideline. Actual values may vary depending on specific models, please double check fluids for your specific application. 


Engine Oil:

Temps 20°  120°F:
SAE 30, 10W-30, 10W-40, 20W-40, 20W30 

Temps 0° 90°F:
SAE 20W, 10W-30, 10W-40, 20W-40, 20W30

Temps -10° – 70°F:
SAE 10W, 10W-30, 10W-40

Straight 40 Weight 

Engine Coolant:

Typically Green, various colors should not be mixed, unless otherwise noted. Mix with distilled water at a ratio appropriate for your climate range.
